We got back from Grand Marais last night abut 9:30. We had a great time. There were 6 couples, and they are all really nice people. 3 of us (couples) camped in the camp ground where Carl & Marlys have their park model.
We either played or watched a lot of good tennis, went to the sidewalk sale, watched a great display of fireworks and other activities that they have for their Fisherman's Picnic. I only played in one tennis event and lost that, so that was the end of my tennis. My partner Carolyn and I had to go up against a mother-daughter team. The girl was about 14 or 15 and very good. We only won 5 games, but it was really fun. Grand Marais is on the Lake Superior Northshore and it's beautiful. We had beautiful weather, no rain until we were on our way home yesterday.
