Hi from Holmen

Howdy!

Well, it's back to the work world for Sue. (I know you all feel sorry for me....)

Last weekend we were in Eagle River for my 19th year of "camping" with my college friends. We stay at a house on the lake. Claire caught a cold and we planned to take her into the walk in on Sun. when we got home, thinking she had developed an ear infection. Well, we made it about 30 miles on Sun. a.m. when she had a croup attack. Luckily, we were on the outskirts of Rhinelander and I remembered passing a hospital on the way there. She was admitted and given breathing treatments. 24 hours later, we were on our merry way back home. She did have a double ear infection.

Today, she had her one year check up. She weighs 16# 4 oz. That puts her just under the 3rd percentile for weight and she's the 10th in heighth. Dr. put her on a steroid to help her "croupy" leftovers.....All in all, she is doing great!!! She's turning more blonde and is gaining quite a little personality....lots of expressions, giggling, smiles, babbling..... She's not walking yet but I don't think it's too far off. She stood for about 5 seconds alone today and stood up from sitting practically all on her own. The day we left the hospital, she was practically running down the hall grasping my fingers.

I'm back to school, which is good in a way but of course I'd rather be home if I could.

Other than that, not much is new....caring for the garden, hoping the Brewers and Packers do well, and wishing my golf league was longer!!!! (bowling starts Tues!) I'll be playing kick ball WEds. and Rob will cheer and watch Claire. Started coaching VB Th. So, needless to say....life will be busier from here on out.

Hope all is well w/ everyone.....

Hannah, I had a "jaunty cart" ride through the Gap of Dunlow with an old man who looked like he came out of an Irish Spring commercial.....that was one of my highlights in Ireland.....
THinking of you and hoping all is well......

Love,

Sue, Rob, and Claire:)
