HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

Can you believe that it's 2009? The years are going way too fast! Hope you all enjoyed the Holidays and your lighter work schedule. Now you're ready to go back to work, full schedule..(??) Hannah, I'll bet you were excited to get back to college. Hope everything goes well for you.

Last week we received an email from Tom Gump saying he would be in this area later in the week and would like to visit us. So, he and his friend Carolyn came on Saturday and stayed overnight. We took a hike in the mountains in the afternoon, then played Mexican Train dominos after dinner. Tom is doing well, getting energy from the steroids he is on. He said that the people who had bone marrow trantsplants at the same time he did, and remained friends with are all dead. (3 or 4) We had a great visit. Also, Bernie is coming March 17-24. It is sooooo nice to have company.

Grandpa is just getting over a bad cold. He's still doing his share of hacking! So far I have been lucky.

I went to see a chiropractor today. My neck isn't too bad, but not good enough to sign off from my accident. Then we went to Best Buy to look at computers. I can't use the LifeCam I got from Sue for Christmas with this computer, so it's time to up grade. Of course we're pretty confused as to what to get. Another learning experience!!

I heard you all had a great time at your Christmas celebration in Appleton. Gary, I'm sorry we were not there to see the talent show!! Sue said she "laughed her head off".
