Hi from Paula

Hi Family,

First of all, Sue, we were so sorry to hear about Sami! It is a sad time for sure.

It is hard to believe but it is the home stretch of this school year. I talked to Hannah this morning and she only has three weeks left of her freshman year! Unbeleivable! It is a busy time in preschool and the next two weeks will be a bit crazy. This Friday I am having Muffins for Moms and then next Friday it will be Donuts for Dads. The children are putting on a little program for both. So we have been practicing and making gifts, cards and decorations for that. Yesterday we made May Baskets and we "snuck" around school to hang them on all the teachers doors. Well, let's just say, 15 four and five year olds tried to "sneek". It was fun and many teachers were thrilled with their homemade flowers and candy. When we were young my mom always did May Baskets. Even when we were grown and out of the house she would often hang baskets on our front door, ring the bell and then leave. It is a fond memory of mine. Unfortunately, I only did it with my preschoolers, I didn't hang baskets on my kids doors~~sorry guys! I have absolutely loved my job this year. It is not without challenges and often times it is exhausting but I feel blessed to be there. I am already excited for next year!!

Gary is helping with a Habitat house today. We will know by the end of June if Gary gets to keep his job. There is a lot of tension at work with everyone wondering if they are on the chopping block. I know whatever happens God will take care of us as He always has.

I had a little incentive thing going with Lydia so today Jessica, Lydia and I went to Build a Bear and she got to pick out a bear. It was the first time there for all of us. I don't know about anyone else but I had a great time! Then we went out for lunch together. It was a fun girls day.

There are finally some signs of spring around. My dafodils are beautiful, I love looking out the window and seeing them, now if only we had some leaves on the trees!!

Well, better scoot and start cleaning the house! Hope everyone is well.

Love and Hugs,
Paula
