Gary, thank you for your kind words, and thanks to you and Paula for coming out and cheering (Paula) and supporting Wendy and I. I'm happy I was able to walk the half marathon. Wendy and I talked the entire 13.1 miles and that made the time go fast. Our official time was 3:18. (Everyone had a chip on their shoe to register the official time.) About 2 miles before the finish line, we were passed by 4 gals that were walking super fast. I told Wendy I wanted to keep up with them, and we did. Wendy said she was happy she could help me take one thing off my "buckey list!" I was tired last night, but felt fine this morning. Dad and I even biked to the tennis court and played tennis for 1-1/2 hours this morning.
