This and That

Hi Family,

Well, I hope you all still remember to check your blog. Hannah, we really enjoyed reading your blog. Thank you! Your classes sound interesting. Because of all your traveling, I'm sure that your Geography class is interesting to you. Maybe you get your interest of maps from your Dad??

Things have warmed up here. It has been in the high 80's for the last 6 days, with Sundays high of 91 being the high temp in the lower 48. We'll just enjoy it while it lasts.

A week ago Sunday our Tennis Club had a FUN tennis tournament. Grandpa and I were playing mixed doubles when he hurt his knee. It didn't hurt to walk or ride his bike, just the sideways motion. He went to see an orthopedic doctor today, and after an exam and x-rays, there might be a slight tear in the cartilage or meniscus. The doctor thinks it's a sharp edge (like a hang nail) that might wear off. They gave him a cortisone injection and told him to come back in a month. He can go back to tennis on Monday. Hope everything goes well.

Sis and Roy were here from Saturday until Tuesday. They were in Santa Fe to visit Tom and from here they were going to Texas to visit friends and sight see. We had a GREAT visit. Bernie is coming on the 17th for a week. It's great to have visitors!!
